I’ve been swamped with uni work between a huge dress make and my dissertation so this year is a bit of a quick one. Its inspired by the very old picture kid me did way back in 2006/07 so about 16 years ago.
I actually went out of my way to use very similar materials for this redraw - ballpoint pen, watercolour (only adding a little pencil so I could put a bit more depth in there). The new version feels like it belongs in a horror comic to me but maybe thats wishful thinking.

Cover for a new Albatross short coming out later this month! Very excited to be getting back into this world. It’s changed a lot since last I worked on it but I’m excited for you all to see it.

“It’s a Supers thing.” Happy spooky month, everyone! I nearly missed this cause I was supposed to be finishing a Bat Brothers animatic, but ran out of time, so I drew this just now in godspeed mode once I got home from a family trip! You can even see that its the same format for Damian as one of my old art and that’s sort of embarassing. To make up for it, I experimented on colors a bit more, what do you guys think?

Just your average couple of kids trick or treating! ;) don’t worry, they’re not as scary as they look

Frisk is on the lower centre. They are wearing a vampire costume with fake fangs and a red cape. Frisk is holding up an orange, pumpkin shaped container to the camera. Wrapped around the pumpkin is a few of Flowey’s vines.
Flowey is to the left of Frisk. His face is upsidown and he was put on a creepy face. His eyes are blacked out and dripping black goo. His smile is similarly goopy. he is wrapped around Frisk however, only a few vines are visible.
Chara is floating bove both Flowey and Frisk. They have their normal striped jumper on. Their left hand in holding onto Frisk’s head. The other is behind Flowey’s head and is loosly holding a red magic knife. Chara’s eyes and mouth are black and goopy like they are in jump scare at the end of Undertale. They smiling and their face and hands are the only parts that are well lit.
All three characters are lit with bright warm lights coming from the house they are trick or treating. There rest of their bodies melt into the dark background. Frisk is the most well lit and Chara is primarily in shadow.

To the left of the image is a doodle of a person with short hair looking down at a child with long hair who is drawing. the shorted haired person has a speech bubble reading ‘Oh i am so stealing that’.

For the people who have saw it, we’re about to do some puzzle solving. Late in the episode you may have seen this screenshot.
And if you were to put the qr code back together and scan it, it would’ve bought you to this image.
There appears to be an incomplete imgur link at the top left with the word “HUE” there as well. I decided to put this image through a pic editing software and messed around with the Hue to see if anything stuck out, and sure enough something did. Changing the hue reveals dots within certain letters on these pages.
Putting the letters in the right order based on the dots in each letter gave me the link to the next image, which was this.
Another imgur link is needed in the top left, and to figure this one out, you needed morse code. combining numbers with their respective morse code translations gave me the code for the next imgur link.
And when putting those characters into the imgur link, we get this image.
A lore book with Latin text. Now I was willing to believe that this was the last image, until I looked at the first inital screenshot,
and realized that there’s four pages with images on them that correspond with the imgur links we were finding, and there’s still one more page to find.
But this is where I’m officially stuck. One, cause I don’t speak Latin, and two, even after translating it I can’t find anything that would lead to another imgur link. There’s seven paragraphs in this book, so it’s possible that each paragraph corresponds to a character in an imgur link, but I’m not too sure.
New spooky month drawing, yay! Decided to use my own way of coloring them that I used the first time I drew them, as I still find it to be kinda pleasing to look at.

To be honest, this thing is just a bunch of random, relativity dark ideas; and instead of fleshing them out separately, I just decided to slam them together into one weird piece. Now I’m not entirely convinced that it works, or if these ideas even make sense together, but dang it I spent too long on this piece to not post it, so here we are.
