At that time, a 23 years old Johnny Depp was filming the “21 Jump Street” series, and was being called to be photographed in order to promote the series, feature in dozens of teen magazines. 
During this pretty long photoshoot Johnny changed his look 5 times.

On that day, Johnny was the second celebrity to be honored with liters of green slime, along Ben Stiller, and after Will Ferrell.

By the way, just in case you didn’t know, the gooey slime is totally edible, once is a mix of vanilla pudding, apple sauce, green food coloring and oatmeal.
