in regards to Sansa, I really do like how she is becoming more assertive and commanding. She has the markings of a true leader and I think that she would/will be a good queen or commanding general of the Stark armies.
HOWEVER, I don’t like how she is also being primed into Littlefinger-lite through her actions of lying and manipulating - especially to Jon. She’s a Stark, and she’s expressed how she is now closer to Jon then ever, but she willingly lies to him regarding Littlefinger, and seems to be trying to, at least in my mind, manipulate him - like with the “Jon is like Ramsay” comparison.
I hope I am wrong though.
I like the development, too.
I also like that she is in a way influenced by Littlefinger - or that LF’s influence leaves its marks. All this time, she had been taught by LF, like it or not, the teachingswill influence her way of thinking, even if she doesn’t realize it. To me it is quite intriguing to watch whether Sansa will defeat LF, and how.
Besides, if she was able to free herself from LF’s filthy fingers, it would be too easy, wouldn’t it? And in my taste, it would be much too fast.
IMO, Sansa lied about the Tully army, is the sign that she learned the lessons not to naively tell everything or the truth the whole time. What do you think will happen, had Sansa told the truth? Do you think Jon would agree to go to Riverrun? They desperately need any support. And if Blackfish supports them, I think, other minor houses will support them too.
The comparison between Jon and Ramsay is not about their characters, but about their status as bastards. If some North houses are willing to support a bastard like Ramsay, then the idea that the other houses will support Jon, who is also a bastard, will not be far from the truth.
Moreover, Jon resembles closely to Ned these days (or made to be resembled to Ned), with the Stark armour, hair-style, and now the coat…. I won’t be surprised if the North Houses start calling him “Lord Stark”.
To add, I think, a House, which will accept Jon’s leadership without question is the House of Mormont, considering he is carrying a/the Mormont sword.

Jon Snow/Aegon Targaryen from Houses Stark and Targaryen, First of his name, Rightful King of the Andals, of the Rhoynar and the First men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm, Former Lord Commander of the Nights Watch, the White Wolf, blood of Dragons, the Reborn, the King of Winter, the Savior of the Free folk, the Prince that was Promised Knower of Nothing, the Song of Ice and Fire and the rightfull King Beyond the Wall.
During season 7 Dany should have marched with Dorne and Highgarden armys into Kings Landing, without using her dragons because she didnt want to be the queen of ashes and she want to be loved by the people.
She would put Cersei imprisoned because she didnt want to kill a pregant women, Mountain and Qyburn would have flee to plot a way to get Cersei back on the throne. After getting the throne Dany has to deal with some Lords rejecting her, with the people of Kings Landing scared of her dragons, some debts and she start getting bit by bit paranoid with this problems. But Jorah, Missandei and Tyrion help her.
Jon would go to Kings Landing to talk and meet with the new Queen so she can help the fight against the Night King. The meet they fall in love in the course of the season. She looses Viserion to the NK. Dany joins the fight, leaving Missandei and Tyrion in charge of the throne and KL.
In Season 8 during the fight Jorah dies to save her (that exact scene), then when Winterfell is saved, she discovers Jon is a Targaryen, Sansa is ploting against her with Varys and all the northers like Jon and follows Jon. Then she receives the news about Cersei having Missandei and Tyrion on prison, and that Cersei with some Lords have taken the throne again and killed the Tyrells and the Martell rullers.
Dany tells Jon that she fought for the throne and against tyrants all her life, and she will not lose the throne or her goal only because Jon is suddenly a Targaryen or because Cersei. She will take back whats her with fire and blood no matter the cost. Jon tell her the North will join her fight but rejects her love because the are related. But she tells him shes pregnant.
At the beginning of the fight Missandei is killed in front of KL and Dany, the fight starts, the surrender bells happen but its a Cersei trick to kill the dragons on the ground, when a scorpian kills Rhaegal Dany in rage flees and burn the city. When she realizes what she has done she cries to Jon, begs for mercy, gives up the throne, tells Jon that he is the right ruller, and goes to Dragonstone to be exiled until the child is born. Dies like Lyanna telling Jon “you have to protect him”.
So you have a girl that overcome obstacles, that survived and conquered the Dothraki, rape, murder atempts, that lost friends a child and her husband, that during 7 seasons tried to save innocents, that wanted to change the world and OUT OF THE BLUE WHEN SHE WON SHE BECAME MAD/INSANE BECAUSE OF A FUCKING BELL ? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME ?
THATS NON SENSE AND LAZY WRITING.
The real Dany would never killed innocents.
Thats why you need women to write about women - when men write about women theyre always too much emotional too much powerful too much to win or to have a happy ending in a position of power. Im sick of it, And then you have the white man that does nothing (Jon during this season) but the crown or the hero arc ends in his lap.
-Briennesurvives the Long Night, is nominated a Knight, all this for the culmination being losing her virginity and get dumped after it? Why waste time with this? For the Jaime/Brienne fans being happy? They’re not! At least her final arc should be being a knight after the battle.
-Sansais a good ruller, she’s smart, she can see what other people can’t, she´s scar for life etc etc. I understand that and until episode 3 I was digging it. She knows how to play the game, so why go with the lazy writing making her disliking daenerys in front of everybody. Why not put her playing with daenerys mind games?! That would be so much interesting.
-Tyrionis no surprise that is getting dumber season after season, but this season is the dumbest. The argument being that he fears Daenerys and every ruller must be feared!? Wtf! Tyrion would never think or be like this. Not even side with Jon when he only knew him for 5 minutes. And all of his plans are dumb, didn’t he learn anything about Cerseiafter 7 seasons? Its freaking stupid.
-Jonout of the blue is useless, 7 seasons being a badass, escaping a lot of difficult situations, learning with a lot of people so that he does nothing. His personality is even worse now, he does everything that daenerys wants, when they met he had a lot of options and now his just submissive.
-Daenerys.. 7 seasons of fighting, conquering, learning with half of the world, having a lot of counsellers, saving people, for what? To loose everything be a looser? To be known has the mad queen really?! Daenerys of the previous seasons would not be like this not everything she passed and learned. It’s just lazy writing the easiest way out. You know what that girl you knew and wanted to save people, well forget everything she’s just like her father. Fuck off. And all of the foreshadowing about Jon and Dany having a kid in Season 7 for NOTHING ?! SO WHY DID YOU PUT CLUES IN ALL SEASON 7 WTF.
The only characters that are truth to themselves are Arya Cersei and Varys.
I don’t want to be that type of fans that shit and criticizes everything in a show. But ho man, Got writing season 8 SUCKS. It’s like they went to Tumblr read fan fictions and picked the bad ones! If you see the interviews and the oficial statements the actors and George rr Martin are not happy about it too.
We had 7 years of build up, characters evolving, profecies so Dumb and Dumber shit all over it.
I feel the writers decided to go for the expected way, they dont know how to write complex stuff. Its like they chose from fan fiction in Tumblr. They ignored the character development. Also i think history is gonna repeating:
-Jaime is going to be known has the Queenslayer
-Dany is going to be known has the Mad Queen that burned Kings Landing (even thought Cersei will blow up with wildfire) as much has her father
-Jon is going to be forced for the good of realm, uniting lords and people and be a miserable as the king of the iron throne, thinking in Dany all is life (a little bit like Robert but a better king)
-Sansa is the last hope of the North and she will restore Stark house with kids, as much the Bael the Bard story that the only Stark daughter had a son to continue the the lineage.
At this point its pretty much obvious the direction the finale is heading:
- Sansa Lady of Winterfell and Stormland ( i still think shes the one to be with Gendry for strategic purpose)
-Arya becoming a traveller trought the world
- Jaime kills Euron and dying in the arms of Cersei
- Arya kills Cersei with Jaime´s face
- Dany is gonna be known has the Mad Queen and dies with Drogon or dies in the Iron Throne room
- I think Jon have 3 options - becoming a miserable king on the iron throne, destroys the iron throne or go to the wall to form a new nights watch.
When Jon falls from Raegall, meets with NK, one to one combat happens, but Jon looses, Jon is dying and NK leaves to go to Bran.
Berric sees all of it, and begs to the Lord of Light to trade is last life to Jon, Dany at the same time is burning wights with Drogon to protect Berric and Jon.
Sansa is with Bran at Goodswood, she refused to go to the crypts, Theon and Ironborn are there to protect both of them.
Sam is locked up in a room and discovers in a ancient book that NK were the azor ahai of his time and Sansa is Nissa Nissa reincarnated.When NK enters Goodswood, the same scene repeats with the difference, that NK goes first to Sansa, kisses her forehead to transform her into the Night Queen. Then NK tries to kill Bran, but before Sansa´s transformation is complete, Arya sneeks NK and kills him.
Jon cames back to life, NK is defeated, all the undead dies, Sansa is human again (because the tansformation was not completed).
