Joe has a lovely house and I was incredibly impressed when I laid eyes on his man cave for the first time - stylish, smart and clean! But sadly the back garden took a bit of a battering from the vicious winds we had a few months back and is in need of a bit of TLC in the form of new fencing, sheds and a bit of a tidy. So thanks to the glorious weather we’ve been having he’s taken this opportunity to give the space a little makeover for summer!
Now while I’m happy to roll up my sleeves and pitch in with the weeding or heavy lifting let’s face it, the creative part of any DIY project is the most fun! So when ASDA asked if I’d like to work together on a bit of a mood board inspiration post I said yes yes yes as it gave me the perfect excuse to look at furniture and help Joe spend his money - which are both favourite past times of mine!
So after getting lost in the website with a cup of tea for quite some time I came up with this mood board using ASDA George’s Metal Garden Furniture and more for a stylish back garden makeover!

I had absolutely no idea that ASDA did garden furniture and I have to say I’m really impressed with the choice and price of it all! I absolutely adore the dark woven sofa set and table with the idea of a funky looking fire pit for when the sun goes down. I think this is the perfect combination of style and comfort that is ideal for any garden and even though it includes cushions and candle holders it’s not too girly either!
So I hopefully this post got those creative juices flowing for any of you planning a ground force-esque makeover this summer! I’m really excited to get working on Joe’s lovely new garden - you can’t beat a good project!
