Gendermaverick:a distinctly unorthodox (and non-binary) gender experience characterized by a self-determined and autonomous sense of anomalous disconnect and/or independence from traditional binary gender. Furthermore, gendermaverick is an identity undertaken/used with the intention of deliberate subversion of society’s sense of binary gender.
The main (and pretty much only) difference between maverique and gendermaverick is that gendermaverick involves a deliberate and direct intent to challenge gender expectations.

Maverique is a gender characterized by autonomy and inner conviction** regarding a sense of self that is entirely independent of male/masculinity, female/femininity or anything which derives from the two while still being neither without gender nor of a neutral gender.
In other words, maveriques are not:
- male/masculine, female/feminine or anything related to these two genders
- without a gender
- apathetic about gender
- gender neutral
Maveriques share:
- a sense of gender that is independent of all else (autonomous)— as if in a category all of its own without outside influence.
- a distinct and firm sense of gender (conviction).

Color meanings:
Yellow is a primary color (see: subtractive color / CMYK), meaning that it isn’t obtainable from combining any other colors and thus is entirely independent from the other primary colors, cyan (blue) and magenta (pink). *i feel that this is the perfect analogy for maverique’s relationship to male/masculinity and female/femininity. yellow is also often associated with non-binary gender.
White represents autonomy or independence from the gender binary and even from the spectrum of colors (genders) created by combinations of cyan/blue (male/masculinity) and magenta/pink (female/femininity). white represents the figurative blank gender slate upon which maverique is based.
Orange represents the deep, burning inner conviction that a maverique feels in regards to their own gender. it also represents the unorthodox and individualistic nature of mavericks, upon which this gender is based.

Transexpression is similar to genderfluid, except instead of one’s gender changing, their gender expression changes while their gender stays static. The individual would feel they couldn’t accurately express themselves with the presentation traditionally assigned to their gender so they would switch it up! How one interprets certain clothing and whatnot is up to the individual.

Transgender is an umbrella term covering all gender identities or expressions that transgress or transcend society’s rules and concepts of gender. To be trans usually means to identify as a gender other than the gender one was assigned at birth. The category of transgender includes people who have the binary gender identities of female (transgender women) or male (transgender men). The transgender umbrella includes people with nonbinary gender identities. However, some nonbinary people don’t call themselves transgender.
Transfeminine is a term used to describe transgender people who were assigned male at birth, but identify with femininity to a greater extent than with masculinity. They could be either trans women or nonbinary. The “opposite” goes for Transmasculine.

Color meanings:
Thepink is for femininity.
Thegreen is for the separation of this gender from the gender binary;
Thestaris for individuality, but relationship? I’m not sure how to explain this. Just think of the fact that the sky - where stars are, and which isblue- evokes imagery that we only have because of the Earth, and would be different elsewhere. But still, it’s separate from the Earth. Just like a nonpuella is someone whose gender draws from femininity and masculinity, but that is entirely separate from binary genders.

Neutrois: A non-binary gender identity which is considered to be a neutral or null gender. It may also be used to mean genderless, and has considerable overlap with agender - some people who consider themselves neutrally gendered or genderless may identify as both, while others prefer one term or the other.
There is no one definition of Neutrois, since each person that self-identifies as such experiences their gender differently. The most common ones are:
- Neutral-gender
- Null-gender
- Neither male nor female
- Agender
- Genderless
Edit: For some, it also could possibly mean where a person wants to physically transition to a neutral body. That is, a body without sexual characteristics (namely without any genitals). This page has a more detailed description of this defitinition: [Link]. (See also: Angenital)

Thegreenrepresents how it is a nonbinary identity and how it can be an entirely off-binary/binary-adjacent thing for some people.
Thewhite is there to bring the pinkish-lavender/greenish-blue and green together as a reminder of the genderqueer flag.
Thegreyrepresents the entire spectrum of possible meanings for this gender and how it’s a grey area with a lot of room for individual meaning.

Nonbinary Girl: Non binary means not a binary gender. A non binary person might call themselves a girl because they might feel associated with that gender, but be, for instance, a demigirl, which is a non binary gender. Other people might feel comfortable with feminine pronouns and a feminine presentation, and therefore call themselves a girl because of that association and because calling themselves a girl helps express that association, but they may still have a nonbinary identity like agender. Both these people might therefore be a nonbinary girl. These are just examples, but there are reasons someone might call themselves a non binary boy/girl.

terfs are so fucking stupid its actually funny
I probably shouldn’t be surprised about this, but a lot of people missing the point here. the joke isn’t “terfs calling Sigourney weaver, a hot woman, unattractive” and tbh I think seeing this post and going “terfs are so stupid because Sigourney weaver is obviously gorgeous” is even potentially harmful or at least hurtful
the joke here is terfs seeing a picture of Sigourney Weaver, famous actress and cis woman, but because they were told its a picture of a trans woman they’re immediately yakking about how ‘clockable’ she is
God I will ALWAYS fuck up and be banned from posting or have my posts not posted in anything that’s a homosocial space. They always have a ton more rules to follow
Homosocial or specifically women’s?
Specifically women’s
It’s so funny when people are like, “gay men aren’t held to impossible beauty standards cause male privileges blah blah blah” but then their immediate go to is to insult gay men’s appearance because they know very well that gay men are held to impossible beauty standards that affect their mental health.
