Getting personal here: Pretty much my whole life I’ve been struggling with self-love and self-acceptance. I hated being on photos, because I thought I always look like shit on pictures, and specifically my face is my biggest insecurity (that’s also why, when I took outfits pics, my face was usually not visible).

 I’ve only started taking selfies in my 20s, and I’m still not in love with my face, but my attitude certainly is better than it was like 5 years ago. I guess feeling not beautiful enough, not good enough and not worthy of love enough stems from my daddy issues (I had an absent dad that still doesn’t care about me) which breeds jealousy and negative thoughts.

If you struggle with self-love too, just know you’re not alone, and it gets better with time. Comparing yourself to others is THE devil. You do you. <3
