Blue\x80 FEATURED ARTIST

Mark Klink //
Once with the thought that computers were nothing more than glorified calculators, Mark Klink went on to teach, for twenty some years, children and adults how to use them. Residing in California, Klink is completely self-taught when it comes to technology, and often finds himself led by a curiosity for file formatting. His 3D glitching methods have been widely influential for other artists, as he himself attempts to further depths of connection between process and viewer.

Jack Stauber //
is a multi-media video artist/muscian living is Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Deliberately smashing together all forms of animation with a good smear of MS Paint, Stauber designs nonsensical, heavily layered videos. Often the videos are paired with music he’s written that reflects the same type of absurdism, creating emotional jingles meant to be carried and put on replay.

Blue\x80 FEATURED ARTIST

Sabato Visconti
//
is a Brazilian multimedia artist currently based in Western Massachusetts.

His work finds itself in the intersection between emerging media environments, internet culture, and professional digital production. He began experimenting with glitch processes in 2011 with the help of Cristina Isabel Rivera’s defective memory card that randomly wrote zeroes on JPEG files. His first data-bending experiments lead him to online glitch art communities, where he learned techniques and approaches to push the boundaries of photography and video.
