And I made a dress! I’ve always loved that Goldeen outfit Misty had in the old anime so I made my own two versions of it.

Goldfish is having an existential crisis, which is fair because he’s a gecko that looks like a goat and is named Goldfish.

Wheww, well it’s been a while since I’ve updated this blog. Many things have been happening in the background, and I’ve only had time for one or two commissions - got to ramp it up this summer!
Here’s a recent portrait of a goldfish completed for a client on FB. This looks simple, but I learned a surprising amount in doing it and I’m really happy with the result.

Trying out Clip Studio Paint…I like the “running color edge watercolor” brush quite a lot. I haven’t found a pen preset that I like yet, but I’m still in the early stages of trying everything out. The interface is nice and straightforward; I didn’t have to read anything to get started, which is always a plus.
