These prints were presented at the Spoke Art gallery in San Francisco during the Tim Doyle’s “Unreal Estate” solo show in February 2012.
“Unreal Estate” is a collection of locations that many of us know and have been to on a weekly basis at times, but we can never actually visit. These places are in our memories- transmitted and entrenched there through a cathode-ray tube.

Beverly Hills Cobra

“Beverly Hills Cobra” is a mash up of Beverly Hills Cop and Cobra. Sylvester Stallone was originally cast as the lead in Beverly Hills Cop, obviously he left the project. Stallone wanted to make a heavy dark action movie, not an upbeat comedic action romp. Thus Sly made the Cannon classic, Cobra.

The concept here is what if he kept/forced that dark action vibe into Beverly Hills Cop.
