he’s decided my pond is his home. been a few days now and he loves to swim with the fish and sunbathe on the lily pads. george is a blessing.

That looks almost exactly like the frog that’s in our front yard pond!! We named her Yui :D

da boy George…. he came to my pond yesterday and left by dusk. but this morning he’s returned.

went raspberry picking with friends. met these horses that loved cuddling and nose pets. don’t know their names, but I decided they are Chester (the chestnut) and Paula (the palamino).

hey fellas. finally dug up that goose. few months ago, the ground froze and stunted my progress on getting this carcass to decay for cleaning, but finally it’s happened! it’s not in the best shape, however I’m new to the degreasing portion of taxidermy, so I find this to be a good starter piece. I have maybe two dozen vertebrae from this goose washed as well. not sure what I’ll do with them yet.

I offer a strawberry of which a slug has made his tasty home feat. his pill bug pals.

I have this little canvas baggy full of rock fragments and I’m not sure where I acquired it from. I think several of these quartz are from my uncle… but importantly, they are extremely clear in some spots, for a moment I thought they were glass chunks.

two adult eagles recently moved in. they’ve been in and out of the river for fish, and have been breaking sticks off one of my trees for nest building. not very good pics of this guy, but it’s cool to see eagles almost every day.
