So this little guy has been getting a lot more traction than I expected. If I put him on some redbubble stuff would anyone be interested? And if so, what do you want to see this guy on?
They are an older goblin of 118 (about 60 in goblin years) , who enjoys growing rare mushrooms, and has a collection of antique weapons they dug up in their youth.
One of biggest challenges for the story has been that, in this world, goblins, and a few other magical beings, are intersex.
I’ve been piecing together my goblin’s society, as well as their world as a whole.
Hopefully I can round up all my ideas and plans, and put them together in a way that makes sense.

Separated from their group, without any supplies or a full set of clothes between them, completely lost, and infection has set in one one of Tiek’s wounds.

I’ve been promising an introduction to my new story for a little while now, and I’ve finally finished an introduction/setup.
goblins used to be servants to the elves and drow, but were freed nearly 300 years ago, and given lands to call their own. they have been quietly farming, and mostly keeping to themselves ever since.
Tiek and their family have been living in their community for as long as goblins have been living free
but things are changing.
new goblins have been moving into their territory, driven out of their homelands by the drow.
the drow used to be peaceful, even welcoming to goblin kind, but their new king is looking to expand his kingdom, and willing to crush any in his path.
while the goblins are trying to find a solution, a group of elves, embasedors, come to their village on their way to treat with the drow.
the elven king has received word of the drow growing in power, and sends the prince, Eimhaid, and two guards in an attempt to make peace, and halt their expansion.
Eimhaidh decides to stay a few days, and sit in on the goblin’s council before continuing on. he was getting information from many of the locals beforehand when he came upon Tiek while they where fishing in the creek that runs through the goblin’s land.
during the council, Eimhaidh learns almost all goblin tribes are now here, or have been destroyed. altogether, so few were left.
the council decided to send two young goblins, Tiek and their cousin, Xiex, with Eimhaidh and his troup to parlay on the goblin’s behalf.
they also send out several other young goblins to try and find any others who may have been missed by the drow.
That’s all I have at the moment.
I’ve got so many things I want to happen, so many characters to introduce and create, and some romance to stir-up!

Goblins don’t have much use for weapons or fighting. The most common weapon for goblins to train with is a staff. It’s easily accessible, versatile, and quite often unexpected.
Great against a wild animal or the occasional raider.
