Studio DIY always has the best Halloween costumes - easy to make (no hunting for weird supplies!), cute without being tacky (no boob tubes here!) and just darn fun to wear. The Animal Cracker costume is by far my favourite, but there are some other winners here and there is a great back log of designs from other years. There are also great options for group costumes, which can be super hard to find where everyone looks awesome!

@vvshere made the base of the crown from an embroidery hoop! So clever.
You can use the idea of an embroidery hoop as a base for a crown in so many ways.
I find so many DIYs browsing the “Recent DIYs” tag on Tumblr. Not the “Popular DIYs” tag. I’m wordering why so many Tumblr creators get so few likes or reblogs.

I was lil poundcake for Halloween and being a straight up motherfuckin dick pig never felt so right
I accidentally found my next cosplay while I was thrifting today.
(Yes, I had a mask. I took it off, snapped the picture, and put it back on.)
Everyone wants to be witches this year, so I was a scarecrow.
The Chicago comm had a Trick-or-Treat Potluck this past Saturday, and gothic or costumes were encouraged. I decided to try something different and go with a scarecrow inspired look. The makeup may be a little much for some, but it’s Halloween and it was fun. Also, I forgot to take the hair ties off my wrist before pictures. -_-
Concrit is fine! I probably won’t wear this again, but it’s always helpful.
