So if there’s merch still available, I highly recommend supporting the zine. I love the Halloween aesthetic so everything about the zine was right up my alley ^-^ Was given permission to post it a few weeks ago. I wanted to try and finish something else before I posted…But that thing is taking longer than expected and now I figured why the hell should I wait?

While doing quality control on the books we have come across an issue that unfortunately impacts a majority of the items. There are about 2mm on the edge that have issues with the foil lifting.
After discussing our options and letting contributors weigh in with their preferences, we’ve decided we’ll still use these books for the shipping, as the general integrity of them isn’t affected (there are no internal misprints). We will still contact our printer regardless, though we have no guarantee that they will agree to provide a refund.
In the end we opted out of the reprint option of the books because it would mean an even longer delay on the delivery of all the items, and our priority is to give everyone what they paid for. Another reason for us to choose to forego reprints is that we have no guarantee we won’t encounter similar issues with the foil again, which makes the delay even less worth it.
Because of said errors, we are electing to skip leftover sales as well. Any leftover merch will be sent to the corresponding artists.
Having said this, while reviewing the books we found that after trimming the 2mm off the cover, the problem is fixed – with the caveat that a small margin of the pages becomes visible. Again, this doesn’t compromise the physical integrity of the books: they are still perfectly readable and otherwise have no other issues. It’s a matter of what looks best.
Under the read more we’ll provide photo proof of both the issue in question, and what the book looks like after trimming the edge. We want to be fully transparent with everyone involved, both contributors and costumers.

The stickers should be here in a few days. The washi tape and charms have been delayed due to the Lunar New Year holiday in China, so as soon as we have more information we’ll share it here!
