The Simpsons Movie has brief strobe effects related to electrical shocks in a flashback scene. A character screams in pain a few times, and starting with the third scream, the strobe effects are reflected on another character’s face. The same effect happens later as a man throws a Molotov cocktail off-screen. As the power goes out at a bar, the lights flicker off.
There are multiple scenes of peril at extreme heights.
