The post: Jason is dead
A conversation I’ve actually had with my sister but applied to PJO characters:
Nico: I’m hungry…Ooo can we get McDonald’s?
Will:No
Nico:Whyyy?
Will: You know how unhealthy that place is? Plus, I don’t feel like it.
Would I be friends with them?: PJO/HoO Edition
- Percy: He would either be a casual guy friend to me or someone I’m just really friendly with. He’s a skater boi so we would definitely get along, but I see us as having different friend groups.
- Grover: Yes. We are both empathetic and compassionate people (satyr) who care about the environment. Overall, he is very kind and I tend to get along with people like him.
- Annabeth: Again, I would be friendly with her, but our friend groups just wouldn’t hang out together. Tbh I would probably be intimidated by her in real life since she is wicked smart. I would just admire her in my head while talking to her. Friends though? No.
- Piper: We would definitely be friends. She is openly bisexual (I am too) and overall we have similar views. I can see her being a feminist and overall having the same beliefs as I do. All in all, I can see us really having fun together.
- Jason: No. He would be that vanilla dude on the football team who I would rarely ever talk to except when I have to (I love Jason though as a character).
- Leo: Probably not. I would find him funny, but also annoying. I see him being the class clown and honestly I just can’t imagine myself being friends with him.
- Hazel: We would be best friends. She is super kind, but also has spunk. I can imagine having so much fun with her and just talking about life while having sleepovers and etc.
- Frank: Maybe. We’re both intelligent and Asian so we could connect over that, but I generally can only picture him as someone I respect not someone I’d be friends with. I would definitely be friendly towards him though since he is Hazel’s BF.
- Nico: Definitely be best friends. He is gay and depressed. Not to stereotype him but that is exactly who my friends are in real life. My friend group consists of people who are gay with mental health disorders.
- Will: We would definitely be friends since he is dating Nico. We would both be constantly mothering Nico/supporting him in his times of trouble.
DO NOT forget that Percy’s mother was 18 when she had him. His mom better be a hot babe in the live action.
Okay, hear me out. I have this theory that Percy and Annabeth did it before going on the Argo II. Y’all be saying they did it for the first time after HoO, but Istrongky believe they did it before Percy disappeared and before the moment when they were in the Argo II stables together. Here’s why
- When being confronted about being in the stables in MoA, Percy and Annabeth aren’t frazzled. If they hadn’t done it yet they would probably be adamant about how they didn’t do it. But Percy is all nonchalant and says the ONLY “kissed a couple of times.”
- That point may seem baseless but the fact that Percy was so nonchalant about it leads to me to believe that they have done it before. He just doesn’t seem the least bit uncomfortable with the idea that the Argo II crew assumes he slept with Annabeth.
- Annabeth owns an invisibility hat, so whether they did it the first time at his apartment or at CHB it doesn’t matter. Annabeth has a pretty solid way to sneak into Percy’s room or cabin.
- This fact is obvious and doesn’t prove anything but they were already in love with each other when they got together at the end of TLO.
Story Time
You know how Solangelo became cannon in the first ToA book? So in seventh grade one of my friends was reading THO during lunch and then she starts squealing with excitement. She shows all of us the line that confirms Solangelo and everyone at the table starts erupting into cheers. The lunch bell rings signaling the end of lunch and as we’re all walking back to class we are screeching at the top of lungs our joy that Uncle Rick finally made Solangelo cannon. It was a pretty good day.
Sometimes I lay in bed thinking about how cute the Percabeth scenes are going to be in the live action as I fall asleep.
Leo: I find using humor as a defense mechanism very therapeutic
