#hero prompt

LIVE

I sure can! I hope you enjoy!

“You stay back here, and [Teammates] will take care of minimizing the damage. I’ll work on getting the civilians out.” [Leader] announced, and everyone but [Hero] nodded.

“Wait, why am I staying back? my power is perfect for helping those people?”

[Leader] gave them a look before saying, “because there are cameras and press everywhere.”

“So?”

“So! Your power is horrific and will make us look bad!” [Teammate] spoke up.

“Seriously?! You all can’t seriously be benching me for a reason like that!” [Hero] looked around at their team, but none of them would meet their eyes.

“We don’t have time to argue about this.” [Leader] finally spoke up.

“You’re right. We don’t.” [Hero] growled as they pushed past their team.

I don’t really do continuations anymore, but please enjoy this prompt similar to A Fine Line @wolfeyedwitch!

“Are you trying to hospitalize them?” [Hero] narrowed their eyes at [Teammate], who froze mid-swing. Their head snapped around, and their eyes connected with [Hero]’s.

“I thought you were in a meeting with [Leader].”

“I was. It’s done now. Are you trying to hospitalize them?” [Hero] continued to stare.

“It’s training," [Teamate] glanced back at a panting and bloody [Villain], "I’m teaching them how to fight.”

“That’s surprising,” [Hero] drawled out, “Because I distinctly remember multiple times when [Villain] knocked you out mid-mission before they joined our team. They’re obviously better than you, yet you’re asserting you’re teaching them?”

[Teammate] gritted their teeth, hot anger flashing through them as they clenched their fists.

“I’m teaching them to fight honorably.”

“That’s why you’re beating them bloodied when they’re on the floor, not fighting back?”

[Teammate] opened their mouth once more, but [Hero] silenced them with a hand.

“A rhetorical question, get out of my sight.”

[Villain] spat out a glob of crimson blood, inching back from a slowly advancing [Hero].

“You don’t want to do this,” they snarled, desperately trying to hide their desperation, “murder is a line you can’t uncross. If you kill me, you’ll be just like me.”

“I’m very well aware of that,” [Hero] continued to stalk towards them. “And your quite right. Murder is a line you can’t uncross. A line I crossed so long ago.” [Hero] smiled sadly.

“I am no better than you, so what’s one more corpse to add to the pile?”

I sure can! I hope you enjoy!

“I have no idea why [Super Hero] chose you for our team,” [Leader] sneered at [Hero].

“What, are you jealous?”

“Of your horrific excuse of a power? Hardly. I’m just wondering how nobody’s pegged you for a villain yet.”

“I’d watch what your saying,” [Hero] smirked, “You’re turning positively green with envy.”

“The only green I’m turning is of disgust.” [Leader] spat back, to which [Hero] laughed and waved them off.

“Keep telling yourself that.”

I hope you enjoy!

“I just…” [Villain] trailed off as they averted their gaze from [Hero], the wind swooping from above the bridge they were hiding under.

“I don’t want to ruin your life over this. Over me.”

“My love,” [Hero] cupped their face, pulling [Villain]’s gaze to their shining hero once more.

“Before I met you, my life was just an endless series of challenges and fights for other people. You showed me how to live for myself. If you’re worried about ruining my life, know that you are the person who gave me a life worth ruining.”

[Hero] pulled [Villain] into their arms, and they melted into each other as the world turned around them.

“I don’t trust you," [Super Hero] looked down on them, "what if you turn on us like some kind of rabid dog?”

“What if I… what?" [Hero]’s face scrunched up in confusion, "what’s that even supposed to mean?”

“Your power.”

“What about it?”

“It makes you dangerous, chaotic, unstable.”

“Says the person that can crush a car like a tin can.” [Hero] scoffed.

“That’s different, and you know it.” [Super Hero] scowled at them.

“It really isn’t,” [Hero] countered. “You can control your power. I can control mine. It’s as simple as that.”

Heyo! I don’t do continuations anymore, however, I’ve decided instead of just telling people that ask that I don’t do continuations anymore, that I’d write a prompt in a similar vein to the requested prompt to be continued (if that makes sense). Either way, please enjoy!

“I’m fine!" [Hero] insisted as they tried to get up.

”[Hero] I heard your ribs crack when you hit the ground, you need to stay down.“ [Villain] insisted as they delicately took [Hero] by the shoulder, keeping them pinned as gently as possible.

"So you can stab me easier? No thanks.” [Hero] struggled, but every twitch shot lightning through their chest, paralyzing their lungs.

“You’re going to kill yourself like that.” [Villain] gritted their teeth as they forced them back down.

“Better than you killing me!” [Hero] growled right back.
