Maybe being upside down will make you stop overworking yourself! Got a friend who overworks? Just send them this video to make them stop!

something i learned recently and want to share in the hopes of helping someone else-

somethimes, the biggest form of self care right now is doing your schoolwork. dragging yourself, kicking and screaming, into doing it and submitting it so that you don’t fall behind today, is an act of self care for both your current and future self.

it’s a way of making sure that even though you don’t feel like you can/want to achieve your goals right now, they’ll still be there for you when you feel a little stronger.

advice for high school freshmen, cause we all need it;

  • there will be kids who drink. it’s okay if you are one of them. it’s okay if you’re not.
  • for the love of all that is holy, do your homework. you’ll thank yourself later
  • no one cares about those four zits on your face. i promise barely anyone notices
  • people are gonna do dumb shit on breaks. if you get a bad feeling about it, dip. do it. no one will notice you’re gone, and you’ll spare yourself the drama.
  • if you’re looking for friends, don’t go for the big ‘popular’ group. go for the few kids who seem to be off to the side by themselves. the most interesting people ive ever met were there.
  • your s/o won’t care about the zits on your face. if your s/o does, they’re not worth having in your life.
  • on the topic of significant others- don’t try and get in a relationship for the sake of it. there’s no ‘right time’, when you find the right person, that’s the ‘right time’
  • bring your own lunch. buying cafeteria lunch is tempting, but. that shits expensive, and not good for ya. don’t do it all the time.
  • no one knows who you are, or who you were in middle school. use this to your advantage. BE WHO YOU WANT TO BE!! literally no one can stop you.
  • wash your face ya nasties. every day. it makes a huge difference. not do a cute lil aesthetic face mask every day, get a doctor/dermatologist recommended face wash, and use it as directed.
