New papercraft featuring Howl, Sophie and Calcifer from Ghibli’s Howl’s Moving Castle! This was a custom papercraft request that was gifted to a winner of an Illumicrate giveaway!
Super fun time with this one, and easily regret letting it go! Howl was specifically requested to be in his bird form (I guess, one of the more appealing versions). But I was quite interested in the dream sequence when he appears in the tunnel with toys and trinkets stuck to the walls. I imagined that he would possibly roll around in these items and put little gold flecks and nuggets of magic stuck in his feathers as a result.

Couldn’t stop thinking of 18th century Howl and Sophie going to the market but Howl insists on wearing his favorite jacket that will make him severely overdressed. And Sophie is like you can’t wear that to the market! And Howl gets upset and they bicker. Also Heen is there.
