I don’t want a fourth HTTYD movie, I just want a new TV series set within the movie continuity like RTTE. It can be set after THW and before the epilogue where we get to see how New Berk cope without their dragons, and them catching up with their allies like the Berserkers and Outcasts may provide us the answers on what these folks have been up to during the events of THW.
Or it can be before HTTYD1 and I won’t mind seeing what Valka has been up to during those missing 20 years. Plus we can get to see her encountering familiar characters like the Wingmaidens, Eret etc. Heck even a focus on Eret would be great too. A TV series is more ideal in my opinion as there is so much more room to explore, compared to a one and a half hour long movie.
Before meeting Grimmel, Hiccup studies his map and his father’s diary.
And, as you may remember, there is a small fight next, and a fire starts in Hiccup’s house.
But in the next scene in the assembly hall, Hiccup uses the map and book again.
Question:how did the book and map survive the fire?
I assume it was Astrid who pulled the book and map out of the fire. She knew that these things were important to Hiccup, and she alone had fireproof armor and free hands (Gobber carried Fishlegs, Valka held a shield and staff, Hiccup held a sword and shielded himself from the smoke with his free hand).
Then it is quite symbolic that in the scene on New Berk, she gives the book to Hiccup.
P.S. Or the Vikings just put out the fire in time, and the book and map survived.

Back then, Astrid had been the wonder girl of Hogwarts. The star of Gryffindor, role model student, best Chaser Hogwarts has ever seen. Her glory ended when suddenly, Hiccup Horrrendous Haddock III, previous nobody now turned superstar started beating her at everything. Literally. He took the spotlight from then on, genius Slytherin boy, top of class for all time, the fastest and the most agile Seeker Hogwarts has ever seen.
It hurt to no longer be in the limelight, to always be in his shadow. But she can’t help admiring him, he was kind, compassionate, and a competent leader. And he’s incredibly attractive too.
In which Astrid and Hiccup have a confrontation that ends with a twist. Pre-relationship, silly teenagers.

In which I played around with the scenario where everyone looks the same except Astrid is still taller than Hiccup. Its quite funny in my head, don’t mind me ^^’’’
