there you were, barefoot, pacing back and forth on the warm floor of your tiny one bedroom apartment. the hours seemed to go by so slowly that you even questioned if time was actually passing. to say you were restless was the very least at this point, but you couldn’t really calm down, not when you’ve been waiting for this moment for far too long for your liking. you sighed looking at the phone that was being held with a tight grip of your hand.
nothing.
you sighed again closing your eyes, trying to have relaxing thoughts to see if your heartbeat would steady a little bit. it didn’t last long though, cause you just couldn’t concentrate on anything besides him. his gorgeous face, his sparkling eyes, his cute smile, his soft hair, his inebriating smell, his enthralling presence…
the beeping sound of your door’s code being typed made you turn your head to the door so fast you almost got dizzy.
and there he has, one hand on the doorknob and a shy sideway smile that knocked the air out of your lungs.
you stared silently at each other for a few seconds, your brain still not fully comprehending that he was indeed in front of you after all those painful months waiting to see him again.
“you’re back” you smiled, barely containing the tears that soon flooded your eyes.
“sorry it took me so long” he whispered coming inside and closing the door.
“don’t worry, you’re worth waiting for” you said before propelling yourself into his arms for a tight hug. he was back. Hyunjin was finally back.

how’s he doing, if he’s eating well, if he’s drinking enough water, if he’s resting properly, if his hair grew a lot or if he cut it, if he’s doing fine mentally and emotionally…
tbh this whole situation is so unfair and frustrating, I’m so tired of this already, I just want him back

Street Racer!Hyunjin pulled you into a hot, steamy kiss when he saw your ex, Street Racer!Jeno, staring at you. He bit your lip and you gasped. He took this as an opportunity to slide his tongue in your mouth, both your tongues fighting for dominance.
He grabbed onto your hips and lifted you onto the hood of his black classic 1964 mustang. He opened his eyes and smirked when he saw Jeno walking away with his head down. He pulled away but not before placing a few last kisses on your lips.
“What was that for?” You asked. Your lips swollen, leaving you kinda flustered.
Hyunjin smirked, combing his finger through your hair. “Nothing,” he said before pulling you into another kiss. “I just love you a lot.”
