so yesterday i made the Very Wise decision to use my desktop’s keyboard immediately after washing my hands without drying them, resulting in some water getting under the keys, and for a solid hour afterwards while it dried, every time i pressed a key in the middle row, it would register a simultaneous press of the A key, which resulted in my keyboard giving me a stereotypical italian accent (doubly funny because i actually am italian)
I’ll tell you what’s problematic about being over 40 and being friends with someone under 25: if you say “but I am le tired” they do not understand that they are supposed to say “well have a nap AND ZEN FIRE ZE MISSILES”

Finding out that Dove Soap and Dove Chocolates are different companies has the exact same energy as finding out that Michelin Tires and the Michelin Star Rating System (which rates the finest restaurants in the world) are actually the same company.
I’m sitting at the computer, looking at all the music I’ve prepared for my audiobook and the other media that will come out of Selah. I’m looking at the beginning of something far greater than me while I sit here, in pain, thinking I could be at the end of me.
I’m so lucky that I still have the ability to create. I’m so lucky to have people who encourage and support me. Anything could happen at any time. There are so many people who aren’t able to do what I’m doing.
That’s what I tell myself when I start to feel like I can’t do what the rest of the world is doing; like I’m just a poor disabled failure.
The fact that this is only the beginning of Selah is astonishing. It’s been fourteen years. With a team around me, the energy, and the insight, I might’ve had it all done in two or three years.
But it’s just me. Well, and a little of my partner, who has given more input than anyone else has.
The first book is in beta and it’s getting positive responses from people I’ve never spoken to in my life.
A Vulcan named Stork works at the Terran adoption agency. Parents always request that he be the one to deliver their child to them.
It’s years before anyone explains it to him.
People keep gifting him robes with long white birds on them.
The fun thing is he would understand why people were getting him outfits with storks on them. That’s a word, it’s his name, straightforward. All the humans get him the same gag gift, but like, they’re putting effort in at least. This is a genuinely nice outfit. Stork will be a walking zero-effort pun sometimes, rather than waste a perfectly fine robe.
It’s fine. This is a readily comprehensible human illogic. Exactly the kind of thing he expected from moving to Earth.

The different species under the family Dryaidae, more commonly known as Halla. Here we have wild and domesticated specimens, as well as some of the ceremonial garbs each Dalish clan adorns their halla with. I’ve been desperately trying to create something new, but the muse just hasn’t been on my side. I was looking through my old stuff just to see if I got inspiration, and realised I hadn’t uploaded all of these just yet. I wanted to add descriptions, behaviour and do a little cool “info sheet” on all of these, but I just don’t have it in me. Hope you enjoy these little guys! I still hope I’ll come back to them someday.

if you type .com instead of .org for my community theatre’s website, it leads to a japanese dentistry and i have no clue why
upon further inspection, the website has no address or contact information for the supposed dentistry. It mentions Omotesando, a street somewhere in Tokyo that’s primarily inhabited by luxury goods stores like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, etc.
what’s more is that, while there are several dentist offices on Omotesando, none of them have a website that matches this one
i’m starting to wonder if this website is simply advertising the conceptof opening a dentistry practice on a particular street?
