Sometimes when in the thick of it with school work, I need to find motivators.

Today’s motivator for outlining and roughing a five page history research paper is: write it with pencils I didn’t need but seemed fun and sated a curiosity of mine, and pairing that with new highlighters for combing through copious amounts of words for relevant information.

In a lovely bright neon pink collage ruled notebook.

Starting strong.

saved this last night bc i was going to post “i feel like this” with the photo of this scalene because i did psychologically feel this shape. then i was like no i’ll post it when i’m not stoned bc that’s a bit of a cliche sillie thing to say. the issue i did not foresee is that i don’t feel like a scalene anymore

Tom Hiddleston to Star in Netflix Political Thriller

The 10-episode series is from the producers behind the streamer’s ‘Sex Education.’

Tom Hiddleston is returning to television.

The Night Manager alum and star of Disney+’s forthcoming Marvel spinoff series Loki will topline Netflix political thriller White Stork, a 10-episode drama from the producers behind the streamer’s breakout Sex Education.

Here’s the official logline: When James Cooper is selected to run for a seat in parliament, Asher Millan is sent to vet him for primetime. But she quickly uncovers potentially damaging secrets buried deep in James’ past. Secrets that will threaten to blow everything apart — his career, his marriage, even the powerful people backing his campaign. White Stork is a political thriller about the paradox of truth in a post-truth world.

Christopher Dunlop created the series, which is being directed by Kristoffer Nyholm. Eleven, the company behind Sex Education, is the studio.

White Stork brings Hiddleston back to television after he won a Golden Globe and picked up an Emmy nomination for his lead role in AMC’s British limited series The Night Manager. He next reprises his Marvel Cinematic Universe role as Loki for Netflix rival streamer Disney+.

Hiddleston’s casting arrives as Netflix is making a concerted global content push as it looks to expand subscribers while also competing stateside at the Emmys. The streamer, which has been on a cancellation streak of late, continues to re-evaluate its originals as it weighs if its $17 billion budget is better spent on new series or additional seasons of existing scripted originals.

Sex Education, meanwhile, launched its second season last month on Netflix and is awaiting word on a third.

OK so I was definitely spoiled for this chapter. But hey, it’s stil lawesome!

WHAT ARE YOU DOING DEKU GET ON THAT ALREADY. Man you really need to treat her better, my god.

MY HEART OMG IF ANY OF THESE CHARACTERS DIE SO HELP ME -

SERO DAMMIT LISTEN TO SATO DON’T MAKE ME ANXIOUS

OK so we’re up to the Deku and Ochako conversation. So many thoughts.

First) This is the best moment Deku and Uraraka have everhad. It’s the first time that their relationship feels to me like it’s not about her one-sidedly supporting Deku or idolizing him or not being part of his life. It’s the first time it’s all about herlife since the Sports Fest, really. This is the kinda stuff I wanted from them before that we have never really gotten. Oh and Deku’s finally complimenting her! ABOUT DAMN TIME.

Second) It also reminds me of Episode 6, when Deku tells her about his Kacchan problems. Now  she’s opening up to him about her Toga problems. The parallels are growing.

Third) Uraraka I love how thoughtful and empathetic you are now you’ve just become the most compassionate and thoughtful cast member. You get it.

Uraraka though…are you saying you do or don’t have compassion for her? Are you gonna try and understand her better? The translation’s a little funny.

OH! Deku is finally opening up to Uraraka, about damn time!

OMG Bakugou is sprawled out on Todoroki’s bed. Damn I’m distracted. But anyway Iida and Shoto bonding over dramatic family situations LOL.

YES!!! OMG I don’t know if that will happen but PLEASE PLEASE let us having this Shoto and Toya family dinner even if it’s just in fanart and fanfic. GO OUT FOR SHWARMA TODO BROTHERS. Redemption Udon dinner.

Also OOH this Todobaku bonding! OK I’m SO DAMN CONFLICTED AGAIN. Like, who is the true third member of the Wonder Duo? Not to make this all about shipping but this chapter man. Shoto or Ochako. Todobaku vs Kacchako, Tododeku vs Izuocha…BKDK/Togachako/Todomomo…I have no freaking clue anymore. (CAN’T THEY ALL GET MARRIED AH I CAN DREAM).

dni if you consider thanksgiving one of your top 3 holidays, play music/videos out loud in public, have never played or tried to play an instrument, dont get the appeal of rewatching movies, cant name at least 3 mcr songs, get upset about people microwaving water for tea, have a loud mechanical keyboard for your personal computer, dont set alarms to switch over your laundry, have ever replied to a celebrity’s tweet calling them bestie, prefer cherry flavor over grape flavor, sleep with socks on, favorite season is summer, frequently use tiktok, preferred sherlock out of superwholock, or dont have any stuffed animals in your bedroom

just so everyone knows i do sometimes actually block people from this post. if you leave a rancid tag disagreeing with me Truly do not interact. you cant. ive blocked you.

on the other hand sometimes people get zero and i follow them just for that reason regardless of what they blog about. and i Kiss them on the lips <3

A week or two ago, a person wearing PPE visited his relative on the stroke ward where my grandad had been moved to, in a hospital recently bragging to be covid-free. This person didn’t keep the distance between him and his relative, and unknowingly gave him covid. His grandparent was the only person able to walk on this ward, and he went around talking to other patients, not knowing that he was spreading it to them. Undoubtedly doctors and nurses also would have tended to him, then the other patients on the ward, spreading his germs.

This person went onto infect most if not the whole ward. I don’t know the full story after that, because my family were not allowed to visit my grandad once he contracted covid, and naturally they were only interested in telling us how he was doing. We’re not ones for drama either.

He died today. And now I’m wondering - how many of the other patients died? All because of this one person who didn’t follow the fucking rules? He’s potentially wiped a whole ward full of people, and left many families worried or grieving.

I was not close to my grandfather, but I’m devastated for my step-nan and every family of every other person in the hospital who were affected. They are/were not allowed to be there for their family members when they’re suffering, or when they died. I’m yet to find out if my step-nan was even allowed in the same room to say goodbye to his dead body.

All it took is ONE inconsiderate person to put us all through this. Despite his protective clothing, he still got too close. It really is that fucking infectious. So hopefully you can excuse my overwhelming levels of saltiness when I say:

WEAR A FUCKING MASK AND SOCIAL FUCKING DISTANCE.

Thank you.

Okaaay no more depressing reblogs

Looking through my page is just not fun rn lol ✌

You should find yourself a wife then… just find someone close to you
