Takuma knows him, well, maybe knows isn’t the right word. He doesn’t think that he really knows Kaname, or if there is a person who does. He and Kaname had been acquainted for quite some time and — you pick things on a person when you spend time together like that with someone and Takuma can see how much this affects Kaname. The turmoil on his face. It really was a close call. If Takuma hadn’t be been there, well —

Takuma watches Kaname for quite a while from the window, complementing before he makes a decision. He walks over and places his hand on Kaname’s shoulder. “I can draw your attention away.” He says. Kaname lifts his head to him and Takuma lets his action speak for themselves. He cups Kaname’s jaw intimately, and traces the sharp line of it, deliberate-slow. It’s rather obvious what he is suggesting.
“I could make you forget it all.” Takuma says, voice low with intent, as he keeps his eyes locked with Kaname’s. “You don’t have to think of her when you’re with me.”

You didn’t get nosebleeds often. Actually, you couldn’t recall if you’d ever gotten a nosebleed at all, before.
So the sight of your own reflection in the mirror, blood flowing down the bottom half of your face in inhumane amounts was a bit terrifying, at first. Your hand had come up to stop the bleeding but it simply wouldn’t. It kept on flowing like it was some sort of unending bloodfall, and you honestly thought you were going to die.
And then it stopped. And you looked up. And everything was normal. You breathed heavily, eyes a bit wide as you stared at yourself. The red was painting your skin like a drop of watercolor flowing down a canvas. It was smudged, from your attempts at stopping it, and movie-like. You’d never seen this much blood at once in real life, before. You took a moment to calm down, swallowing thickly and taking a deep breath.
