Shadow Weaver: The Devil
Thought this was a pretty fitting card based on her character hehe. I’m no fan of Shadow Weaver but MAN the writers did a good job of executing her character arc. She basically got what she deserved at the end of season 5 but I STILL cried.

This gorgeous Work in Progress is The Ten of Cups by Mary Layton being developed for 78 Tarot Astral. This card will be shown in its completion during our 78 Tarot Astral Kickstarter – this is just a teaser!
Mary Layton’s favorite media are watercolor, pencil, pen & ink, and digital, and she uses them to create beautiful mythic, fairy and fantasy art. She has also been known to dabble in photography and both prints of her paintings and her photography can be found on her web site. Mary has graced us with her presence for every one of our decks.

Carol Phillips was born in Hawaii, but spent most of her childhood years nestled near a rich riverside forest in picturesque Oregon. Carol has a love for painting the figure, portraiture and environments. She loves to work in traditional mediums such as oils, and pastel , but also modern media such as digital painting. She is primarily self taught.
As a child she was captivated by the beauty of the natural world and immersed herself in the realms of fantasy and adventure. The creation of fantastical creatures, characters and worlds continues to fascinate her and she wishes to share these creations with others. Through her art she hopes to provide a glimpse into these beautifully mysterious worlds.

“The Moon”
Medium: Acrylics, watercolors, color pencils, pastel, inks and markers on opalina paper.
Finally I can show you to you all on a April’s full moon, The Moon Card that I made for the 78 Tarot Astral !! I feel so lucky to work with this awesome people for 3rd time!
I try to make a very emotive but powerful illustration, using as inspiration some of the movies of Georges Méliès, The Smashing Pumpkins song “Tonight Tonight” and “Hijo de la Luna” song from Mecano.
