Day 11: Syaoran from “Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle”. This series was my freaking DREAM. Made by my favorite manga creators, CLAMP, they created an original series featuring characters from all their previous manga works. You know how “Avengers” is for Marvel fans? That’s how Tsubasa was for CLAMP fans, a whole new series with all our favorite beloved characters from CLAMP’s library of works with older versions of Sakura and Syaoran from “Cardcaptor Sakura” as the stars. And I read the entire thing. All 233 chapters . The story went off the rails a little bit at times but it was a great ride and still one of my favorite series. ✨Day 10: Chi from “Chobits”. Another one of the first manga series that I ever finished and I still own the complete series today. As a huge fan of Clamp and their work, I’ve made it my mission to read at much of their manga series as possible and of course Chobits is a classic. I’ve always loved Chi’s design and her style and outfits are just gorgeous. Have you ever read/watched Chobits?

☝️Day 9: Kamina from “Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann”. UGH THIS SHOW. I absolutely LOVE this series and it is definitely in my top 3 favorite anime series for me. This over-the-top mecha anime was a wild ride from start to finish and the fight scenes were literally out of this world. Kamina may not have been my favorite character (that would be Nia) but he was a character that was a driving force throughout the series and compelled everyone to be the best they could be. As Kamina would say, “believe in the me that believes in you”. Have you watched Gurren Lagann? It’s on Netflix if you haven’t!

✨Day 8: Madoka from “Puella Magi Madoka Magica”. This freaking series If you’re looking for an anime that will mess you up for a couple of days this is it. I held off watching it for a long time cause I knew it wasn’t the typical “magical girl” anime genre that I was so use to. But man, it’s really good. Super messed up, but REALLY good. Have you seen this series? What are your thoughts?

⚡️Day 7: Ash Ketchum and Pikachu from “Pokémon”. I’ll never forget the days of being a kid and waking up early to catch the latest episode of Pokemon. I was definitely caught up in the Pokémon craze of the late 90s and honestly, never left it. It’s so neat to see Pokemon still have relevance today and is thriving with its series of games, shows, and merch (there are TOO many adorable Pokémon backpacks and purses that I want from BoxLunch ). And now for the big question: who’s your favorite Pokémon? I LOVE Umbreon (particularly the shiny version.). Tell me your fav!

Day 6: Inuyasha from “Inuyasha”. I use to LOVE this series in high school. I remember trying to stay up late on school nights to watch this show on Adult Swim when it aired around 10pm on weekdays. I was totally obsessed wit Inuyasha and Kagome’s story and loved all the characters in the series. I even cosplayed as Sango when I went to my first Anime Expo, my dad helped me make the boomerang out of wood too! #bestdadever And a sequel series was JUST released. My inner 14 year old is SCREAMING. Did you ever watch Inuyasha?

Day 5: Sakura Kinomoto from “Cardcaptor Sakura”. Another one of my first anime series that I fell in love with while growing up. I’m a sucker for the magical girl genre and Sakura had the cutest wardrobe.. Sakura and Syaoran will forever be one of my favorite couples

Day 4: Umi Ryuuzaki from “Magic Knight Rayearth”. This series changed my life as it was the very first manga series I’ve ever read and I freaking LOVED it. When I visited Japan a few years ago, it was my mission to visit Tokyo Tower as that was where the Magic Knights were first teleported to the magical world of Cephiro in the series. Although I was not made a Magic Knight during that visit to Tokyo Tower, it was still neat to visit a place that was a central part of the manga series that got me into anime and quite honestly, sparked my interest in drawing.
