Chapter excerpt/ summary:
Finally he was able to open his eyes and look around. He found himself in an unfamiliar hospital room, he could see the lights streaming in from the windows of the room that lined the wall showing the outside landscape that was so blatantly obviously not New York City. He remembered that he was in Wakanda. He could also see a separate fluorescent light coming in from the window on the door and the other walls with a view of the extravagant futuristic hallways.
However most notably was the little girl who had made her way back over to him with little hesitation and was now peering up at him from the side of the hospital bed.
“Is that better, Peter?” The little girl asked in the same loud whisper. “Daddy told me that sometimes lights are too bright and noises are too loud for you. ‘pecially when you’re hurt.”
He had absolutely no idea who this girl’s father was and how he had known about Peter’s spider sensitivities.
Or in other words:
Peter wakes up to a strang little girl who he doesn’t know but seems to know all about him.

Ch 8 summary/ Exceprt:
“And you,” Pepper said, picking up the girl. “You know you aren’t supposed to be here.”
“It’s my fault, Miss Potts,” Peter said quickly. “I told her to bring me here.”
Pepper raised an eyebrow at him and gave him a stern look that made him shrink back.
“Right,” Pepper said. “You’re telling me you went to find my daughter who no one has ever told you about and you had never met and asked her to bring you to her father’s room.”
“Technically she found me,” Peter said. “But I still asked her to bring me here.
“The rooms are coded, how’d you even get in?” Clint asked.
Peter glanced at Morgan and then back up at the two adults staring him down. “I -uh- figured it out. Hacked it. It’s not that hard.”

Ch 5 summary/ excerpt:
“Mr. Stark!” The kid cried out. “Tony.”
He had a feeling that the kid hardly ever called his mentor by his first name. He looked up to see the boy stumble back towards Tony’s fallen form. He watched him press his ear to his mouth. All he could think about was his own son, Cooper, or even Nathaniel. Instinctively he started toward the kid.
In other words:
Peter tries to explain that he can still hear a heartbeat and Clint’s dad mode is activated

Ch4 summary/ excerpt:
Peter was running and dodging aliens, His Instant Kill Mode still activated and he’d have to thank Mr. Stark later for refusing to take it out and deeming it to be necessary eventually when Peter wouldn’t have a choice. (Although he highly doubted Aliens were what Mr. Stark had in mind but given the Avengers track record maybe it was). He’d also have to endure a large serving of “I told you sos” but he was ok with that for the time being because now Lasers were reigning down upon him and he curled himself around the gauntlet in a poor attempt to protect himself.

Long story short, Peter has a bad time.

Iron dad fic I’ve been thinking on this idea for awhile. It’s one where The avengers don’t really understand who it is that Tony lost. Post infinity war I’ll probably continue it into endgame.

“We all lost someone, Tony.” Steve said. “Look I’m sorry, I know you and Spider-Man—“
