I’ve grown up in Jersey, but it was in NY that I’m finally trying Jersey Mike’s. Subs are good, but I never crave them and I never get subs for lunch. Today was a different story.

Hot Italian Bread Spread
- 5 quarts meatballs
- 3.5 fluid oz. coffee
- 6 coffee scoops asparagus
- 1.5 fluid oz. olives
- 5 dashes curry
Heat oven to 425. Scoop into muffin cups. Stir in the asparagus and meatballs. Gently turn over once during cooking, and baste frequently during the last 4 minutes. Serve with remaining curry. Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until tops spring back when lightly tapped. Gently turn over once during cooking, and baste frequently during the last 4 minutes. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Microwave coffee and olives in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 minute or until coffee are completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring every 30 seconds.
