Free! -Eternal Summer- Cast Announcement: Rei
For the past few weeks, we’ve been teasing and hinting at the upcoming English dub for Free! -Eternal Summer-, and today we’re excited to finally begin our rollout of the dub cast! Starting today through Sunday, November 16, we’ll be unveiling new characters daily. The announcements hit first on the Free! -Eternal Summer- TumblrandFacebook page, so make sure you’re following them for the most up-to-date news! And now without further ado, our first cast announcement for Free! -Eternal Summer-, everyone’s favorite bespectacled beauty-loving butterfly boy: Rei Ryugazaki!
Rei (played by Daisuke Hirakawa in the Japanese version) is played by J Michael Tatum, known for such roles as Sebastian Michaelis from Black Butler, Kyoya Otori from Ouran High School Host Club (another glasses boy!), and France from Hetalia. We know a LOT of you fans guessed that he’d play Rei, so if you got it right, congrats! ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ
