Knives Out has been out in theatres for awhile, but C and I finally decided to see it on our Friday date night. As C said, it’s the best and worst movie we’ve seen all year ;)
It was actually a very well written movie. I’m a talker during movies and I always like to guess what happens - I’m usually right too, but this one had a few plot twists that I definitely didn’t see coming. Love the cast too!
As 2019 came to a close, I realized I hadn’t seen as many movies as I thought this year, and I have missed out on most people’s top films. So I decided to sneak in one more before the New Year and that was Knives Out. ⠀ This film is the perfect film to summarize 2019 not only because it is a fun, entertaining murder mystery, but also because of the incredibly relevant social commentary in the film as well. Brilliantly written and directed by @riancjohnson, a star studded cast effortlessly weaves you through the narrative. ⠀ #chrisevans #jamieleecurtis #danielcraig #tonicollette so many stars I can’t name them all, my boi @lakeithstanfield3 and especially @ana_d_armas who was the emotional core of the movie. You will laugh, cry, and have a great time with the twists and turns along the way. Definitely check out Knives Out, you won’t be disappointed. ⠀ ⠀ #filmfriday #knivesout #rianjohnson #2019 #murdermystery #happynewyear #2020 #gotothemovies #2019movie https://www.instagram.com/p/B629kKKhtYD/?igshid=1ai54s1mu8v5b
