A new work week began, and I’ve been doing a lot of reading today (texts that I’m editing, and much more). I also listen to songs in… the Māori language (I don’t speak the language). I’m just interested in different languages, even the most exotic, even if I don’t plan to learn them. I am interested in their origin and structure, their state and the number of native speakers… All this is a kind of entertainment for me, a game for the mind.

I took this striped pebble from the collection of my children :)

This paper snowflake made my lovely wife, to teach it to our children. This year was difficult for her, but she never gives up. I hope for an awesome 2019 for our whole family.

Snow is falling for the third straight day…

When I did this shot, the owner of this cafe went outside. [In Ukraine, many people suspect something bad when someone photographs their home, car or shop.] He asked me, why I took a picture of his café? I told him that I just photographed the snow snowfall, a street. I also said that I might upload a photo of his coffee house on Google-map, and other people will know this place — and this man immediately smiled. He let me take pictures of his place whenever I want :)

Thiscrazy quilt was made by my wife in 3–4 days, it is on the floor in our toilets. Every time I’m sorry to step on it ))

Bad news: my daughter got sick this evening (ARVI?..)

She has a fever. She is 9 years old, I think she contracted a virus in the school (There, half the class is sick.) (( We know what to do in this situation.
