You’d think a cis white guy who’s a proud feminist, wouldn’t joke out in the open about “have this sick obsession with everyone killing Eivor (while using "her” pronoun) I just have it", especially during a one-year anniversary event of a feminist that he is a founder of. Especially after this proud feminist already started a conversation about how Eivor isn’t an “authentic” representation of women, simply because she is masculine presenting. I was gonna say I’m surprised but then I realize this is Ubisoft we’re talking about.
At this point it isn’t even about Ubisoft, it’s about an individual Cis White Man intentionally “joking” about “obsessively imagining killing” the very same queer, masculine-presenting woman he only months ago shamed for not being “a real woman” while simultaneously harassing the type of women she represents and turning an entire Feminist Movement against them.
And now the same movement is backing him saying “it’s only a joke” and that jokes don’t mean anything when it comes to violence and misogynism towards women.
I have had men throw things at my head “as a joke” while at work. This shit is real, and joking about it only further normalizes it!
TheAC Sisterhood would literally rather defend and support jokes about killing women (types of jokes that so often get actual, real women killed) instead of holding ONE. SINGLE. MAN.Accountable!

I speedrun through the Hamtunscire Arc and also did the Forge & Flame quest. The Taken for Granted quest is still there even after Gunnar’s wedding.
So what I did is have Eivor confessed at the wedding and do the Taken for Granted quest immediately after.
THE SUNKEN TOWER SCENE IS SO DIFFERENT. THE LOOK ON EIVOR’S FACE WHEN RANDVI KISSED HER. SHE WAS LIKE “I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS WOMAN LOVES ME AND I GET TO KISS HER EVERYDAY”
