He’s inserted into the cartoon as-is, like Michael Jordan in Space Jam. He doesn’t know how or why he’s in a cartoon (and the characters don’t react to him not being a cartoon) but he’s a good sport about it and plays along
Story plot: he comes through Amity Park on tour and Ember crashes his show. Danny comes to the rescue but it turns out to be a trap; Lil Nas X was working with Ember the whole time.
