Complicit®
Brent Pruitt, 2021

Each member within society is responsible for the perpetuation of institutional oppression.

To what extent do we, as an individual, or collective, acknowledge our participation? How do we hold ourselves, and each other, accountable?

Complicit® is a declaration of recrimination and confession.

hiI made this for instagram so yeah, it looks a little weird

happy june. why buy pride apparel from big corporations when you can buy it from actual queer people, like me on redbubbleoretsy.

these are the only places I sell it. if you see it elsewhere, it was stolen. yay. also dm if you want a variation with a different flag(s).

Beloved Monsters is my current, partially explored series of oil portraits exploring the sympathies of sexual and gender minorities and neurodiverse cyborgs with the archetypes of storied and feared mythical creatures. Kickstarter selling catalogs, prints and originals to cover models, supplies, my labor, printing and exhibition costs, runs through June, all or nothing, back what you can and share widely! ‍♀️‍♀️‍♂️‍♀️‍♀️

One day left to back! Get some art!

Posted an update to the Kickstarter about Reginald as The Minotaur.
Only two weeks left to back Beloved Monsters for affordable catalogs, prints, and original paintings! Push it past the goal and we can work toward commissioning short stories for the catalog from queer and trans sff writers!

This never sold as an adopt so I turned it into a pin! It’s made from shrink plastic, and domed with UV resin. If I get enough interest I’ll make more to sell, I think I can improve on this a little so we’ll see how that goes, I love how it turned out
