Day 12 of the Olympics—Members of the Danish Royal Family and Sweden’s King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia watch the men’s handball quarterfinal match between Denmark and Sweden. The Swedes came out on top 24-22 and move on to the semis.

Day 8 of the Olympics—The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were at Olympic Stadium to support Team GB on what would be a fantastic day for the host nation. Great Britain’s 10,000m runner Mo Farah and heptathlete Jessica Ennis were big names going into today’s meet. Both valiantly delivered, winning gold in each of their events. And long jumper Greg Rutherford contributed to Great Britain’s medal count also winning gold.

On Day 6 of the Olympics, IOC member Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark awarded medals to the winners of the Men’s Lightweight Four (rowing). His fellow countrymen won the bronze.
