‘Melting of the coin’ In the Czech republic we have this very dwarven sounding Yule tradition that’s the melting of small lead coins above a candle and pouring the melt into a bowl of water to see what shape it’ll take. The final shape will supposedly tell us our fortune for the upcoming year. So, of course I had to draw the company doing this. I’m not sure if this would be more of a Durin’s Day custom or a Winter solstice thing, but I like to think they would do this during some autumn/winter celebration.
