Printed in Great Britain at The Darien Press, Edinburgh, 1928. 
Illustrated with manikin, coloured and half-tone plates.  Set of Five.

A popular trend of the time, these books were great sets to have in the late 1800s up until around the 1950s or so. Covering a range of topics such as Anatomy, Hygiene, Skin Diseases, Venereal and Sexual Diseases and Homeopathic Treatments.

This hardback book is in brilliant condition with minimal discolouring to the pages and the spine is still intact.

I love working on my spine.

When i want to clear my head i stand on it, obviously.

Vintage Art Deco Vanity Set, Pink Guilloche. 

This hand mirror and brush set is in the Art Nouveau/Art Deco style and was probably made around the 1950s. Soft pink guilloche, art deco design in enamel on the back, copper metal handles and real bristles. 

In great vintage condition, the mirror is undamaged although there are some aging signs where the handle meets the head on the back.

When I set out to design and make a piece of jewellery for the fabulous Silver Summers i was really excited, she has an awesome style which helped me with the inspiration for this necklace.

Silver is part of Drag Pop band Buffalo Girls, so i thought it fitting to use Buffalo teeth as the main feature of the necklace. This I combined with black leather cord, czech ab beads/spikes, gemstone and a tassel. All of the Silver elements are in 925 Sterling Silver.

The Buffalo is a spiritual creature to Native Americans which symbolises Strength, Prosperity and Power.

Exhausted. My #cfs is bad, which makes my #hms worse. I can feel my skin condition flaring up now because I’m so tired, yet can’t sleep. I’m in two minds about taking some sleeping pills as that’ll bring on other rubbish side effects. Lame.
