Because I’m still thinking about it today, major shout-out to Luis for that final scene with Asmodeus last night. You could see the player battling meta-instincts to recoil under the surface of the character’s earnestness and he leaned into that so hard. What an excellent scene and a great play from Luis. It makes me nervous as fuck and I love it.
i have absolutely zero coherency at this point i just want to deeply appreciate consistent characterization and the way that kindness as a character trait and disdain for deities and grief and loyalty and the stubbornness that comes out of it all. can manifest. i am rolling around gesturing furiously and making very loud “aUUGHHDHHFG??? HRGG????” noises at the moon but I am also. Looking at Zerxus. And everything we know about him and going “Oh. Of course. Oh. Oh.”
