This monthly column called “Junko Sophie’s Hidden Kyoto Vol.2" has just been released! Junko’s essays are presented in Japanese, English and Chinese.

In the June issue, Junko shares with us her thoughts on the water of Kyoto. She shares important lessons learned from a renowned Taiwanese tea master, as well as her experiences of visiting a shrine devoted to the god of water on an early summer day. She explains why she choose the kimono for that day and introduces the delicious Tofu of Kyoto. Please enjoy this interesting article with beautiful photos by the photographer Everett Kennedy Brown.
