Iwata didn’t die, we will know and cherish his legacy for many generations to come. He was my father for I had none. His art showed me how to live, how to be passionate, how to fight for what I believe in. Thank you Iwata.

This one in particular was quite difficutlt to create. I tried to learn how to render fur in Blender, but it kept turning out poorly, so in the end I had to graft in a lot of fur from other renders, and draw a lot of follicles manually in Photoshop. If anyone has any tips I’m all cat ears.
Lots of the fan art I make is just an excuse to listen to certain music on repeat. For this one it was the amazing “World Bowser” theme from 3D World. Here’s the process gif as always:
