FINALLY got the mobility and smoothness that I was looking for in my helmet!
Ohhh man I’m sure it can be more smooth but this is good enough for me for a fight! I’ll wear this again on the weekend to test out the comfort level.
I think I worked out all the kinks in the firing of the new gorget to the helmet…. now back to the other parts!

Up next, to fix my sabaton!!

Doesn’t seem like much but these much head to neck mobility is GOD TIER COMFORT. I gave this maxmillion armet more eye slits, the vision is absolutely insanely good!!! It almost feels like I don’t have a visor at all. And now that i can freely turn my neck left and right,up and down it is SO.SO.GOOD. can’t believe armor can get this good. And this is just some off the shelve item modded.
Time to sand and polish it some more so the head can rotate much more smoothly!!

Been working on adding lames to my gorget so I can make it into a Turner style armet and helmet. Well, it worked really well until one of the temporary rivet popped out. Thus the gap on my neck. But.. SO FAR SO GOOOD. will start polishing it tomorrow so i can proper peen the pieces together.

A few things I did was adding more lames to the gorget, hammering the top rim flat, and fixing the armet so it locks the gorget in plate. MAN that was a lot of satisfying fun hammering.

Maxmilliom the First Armet from off the shelve product, but works for a temporary helmet.
