my favourite things about the hawkeye series, in no particular order:

It’s funny seeing people complaining about Kingpin in the Hawkeye finale when it’s literally being comic accurate, like damn i’m sorry you think this whole ass giant can’t wear a hawaiian shirt lmao
How I’d handle the “Daredevil” reboot (per the news from today):
1) Have Matt appear as the deuteragonist of the “Echo” show. In “Echo”, it’s revealed that Wilson Fisk somehow survived getting shot by Maya (based on the comics where the same thing happened). Since Fisk survived, Maya is forced to go on the run due to Fisk putting out a contract for her head. Matt hears about what happened and decides to help Maya escape Fisk’s wrath, thus starting the show.
2) The main personal conflict of “Echo” is Matt and Maya trying to get along, as well as Maya’s moral dilemma. She wants to finish what she started by going after Fisk and ending him, while Matt tries to convince her that killing is wrong, no matter what. It’s basically Batman and Catwoman’s dynamic in “The Batman” when it came to killing Carmine Falcone.
3) At the end of “Echo”, Maya decides to let Fisk live when she learns that Fisk is going back to prison. She parts ways with Matt, now more of an anti-hero than an anti-villain.
4) The “Daredevil” reboot picks up right where “Echo” ends. Fisk is on trial (again), resulting in the criminal underworld going into panic mode. Just when things are finally going Matt’s way…a new villain shows up to complicate things. The new villain can be anyone in Daredevil’s rogues gallery, but I’d personally go with either Mister Fear or Muse.
HELLUVA WEEK TO BE A DAREDEVIL/MCU STAN
If I had a nickel for every time I saw a black widow assassin ask the protagonist, a woman living in New York about tourist attractions while they were having food, I’d have 2 nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird it’s happened twice.

Arghh Clint probably was so reluctant about calling Kate his partner because his last! partner! was! nat!
I read how Clint’s ‘the shot I didn’t take’ reflects with Kate not shooting Yelena but I think there’s gonna be a bigger payoff for that. Or there should be, atleast. Yelena’s slight head nod seemed a lot like You’re out of your depth kid. you don’t wanna do that. I like the idea of a scene where Yelena truly is helpless, Kate has a better idea of what a widow is aside from Natasha Romanoff was one. That would be a wonderful way to start the new Widow-Hawkeye partnership.
Also, didn’t fail to notice how Yelena made sure Kate didn’t… fall to the ground. Maybe because she doesn’t want to kill more people than necessary, but I also read somewhere that the person who Eleanor called after Hawkeye left was Val, and told her to go easy on Kate. She’s just a kid, she’s harmless, just let her go.
Also, I feel like in the finale there’s going to be a scene where Kate saves the day by tossing a coin and hitting something.
P.s is it just me or do we like Jack now? I feel like his whole thing is a red herring, and he’s just a dude who likes swords. Somehow has connections to tracksuits but stand up guy.

Devery Jacobs (Reservation Dogs, American Gods) and Tantoo Cardinal (Stumptown) have also been officially announced as joining the cast, though no word yet on who they are playing.

Episode 6 of Hawkeye was absolutely amazing!
Was really hoping Yelena would join the Bartons and Kate for Christmas Day but I guess 2 strays was more than enough for Clint to deal with.
Looking forward to Season 2 and really hope we get to see Yelena again!
