Men deserve good things.
We deserve happiness, kindness, love, hope, and compassion. We deserve to feel hot and sexy in our bodies no matter what shape they take. We deserve to feel loved no matter what. Men are not just walking flesh bags made to take the brunt of everything. We feel and understand things just the same as anyone else.
We’re not tougher or more resilient to abuse. We are fragile, sensitive, and caring. We can internalize all the hate we are given and it hurts us.
If we realize it or not, we feel deeply.
We care deeply.
We cry.
We love.
We deserve happiness and kindness.
I’m mad enough about seeing that “ew men I hate being bisexual” post on my dash, that you know what? If you can, please reblog this with at least one thing you love about men. It can be anything! Physical, an emotional trait - anything.
I’ll go first: I love men’s smiles. They’re so warm, and pure, and bright. Seeing men smile genuinely makes my day better.
They give good hugs! One of my best male friends also walks me to the train station after college sometimes and waits with me til the train comes and it always makes me smile :)
Men being silly together and just having a good time. Love that about them. Ridiculous and over the top.
