LIVE

Like all great children’s tales, it contains truth in the myth. Lahima once wrote ‘instinct is a lie told by a fearful body, hoping to be wrong’. It means, that when you base your expectations only on what you see, you blind yourself to the possibilities of a new reality.”

Hi All. I’m not as active on here so if your interested please be sure to follow me on my insta. @VincentCoviello.  Anyways,  I just started re-watching Avatar the Last Airbender and goodness does it holdup. It has to be one of my all time favorite animated series. The world creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko  conjured up is one of the best examples of world building I’ve seen. This series is a beautiful mix of real world philosophy, beliefs and customs mixed with fantasy. If you are following me, I am going to assume you’ve seen it. If not, I highly recommend it and Avatar The Legend of Korra.

I was particularly fond of the Spirit World and Hei Bai is right up my alley in terms of design. So here is a quick rendition in my style.

WARRIOR GENIUS is out today in the US & Canada (wherever books are sold). The paperback for REBEL GENIUS is also available now. Writing this series has been an enormous creative challenge and I appreciate all the kind messages of support from those of you who have read the first book. Hope you enjoy the second one!

Even for the small amount of screen time of these two showing affection for one another, I loved ever second of it.

I really wished Nickelodeon took advantage of this because their chemistry was amazing for only be shown for just a little bit during Book 3 & Book 4.

I am truly disappointed in Netflix.

Ever since Netflix added ATLA to Netflix, the series has been shown to new fans who loves this show & old fans who get to relive their childhood watching this growing up.

This show is beloved by old fans & new fans all because of the creators Mike & Bryan & their phenomenal writing team & Netflix wants to tear that apart in the live action series ? That’s the main reason why the animated series is great. Why break the main piece of the puzzle ?

I hope Netflix rethinks their decision & let’s the creators have their creative freedom like they were promised 2 years ago.

On the bright side, they get to go back to making animated series of the world Avatar. Which isn’t all that bad if the Netflix doesn’t accept them back.

I’m crossing my fingers that it’s an Avatar Kyoshi series, I want one so bad especially after reading the amazing two books that have been released. Although I won’t be mad if we get another new avatar.

It’s a Win/Win situation for me because I trust Mike & Bryan that they will deliver a fantastic series just like ATLA & Korra. (Although I want avatar kyoshi series more than anything ha)

Imagine being a clown & picking Aang & Roku over Kyoshi & Korra.

Let’s be real for a second, Kyoshi alone would beat Aang & Roku, she is hands down the strongest avatar that has ever lived.

Kyoshi feats are unmatched.
- She made a whole ass island for her people
- She was trained by the greatest firebender ever!!! (My girl Rangi)
- She froze the water inside someone’s lungs & heart to kill them.
- Nearly broke a guys neck for hitting on her while he was drunk
- Made earth come up from the bottom of the ocean to destroy an entire fleet.
- Survived after someone bend lightning at her, didn’t even redirect it.
- Longest living Avatar of all time. 230 years old.

Aang & Roku ain’t got shit on kyoshi.

Aang: “I took away your fire bender, you can’t use it to hurt or threaten anyone else ever again.”

Kyoshi: *chuckles* “that’s cute Aang, I froze the water inside his body to stop his lungs & heart from working.

Kyoshi & Rangi > Aang & Katara

(Trust me I still love Kataang but I love Rangshi way more, they make my heart melt everytime they share a scene together. Theyre just so perfect for each other.)
