Loras Tyrell, Flower of Highgarden
“Give me the command, Your Grace. The castle will be yours within a fortnight if I have to tear it down with my bare hands.”
The knight of flowers himself, and fittingly enough he may be my fanciest miniature yet! I really love this sculpt - the armour has tonnes of elaborate detailing, the cloak is patterned to really seem like it’s woven from flowers, and I love the ring of roses around his lance.
I wanted to go for Loras as the ultimate teen heartthrob, so I went for the classic white horse, and very soft pastel colours rather than the deep green I usually use for House Tyrell. This also helps the cloak of forget-me-nots tie in visually. For the roses on the caparison and shield, I used decals as a template then painted over them.
Happy holidays!
I made a little crocheted train and some mini Christmas amigurumi.
I made some tiny pumpkins!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The colourful ones are 1 cm wide, and are made with two strands of embroidery thread and a 0.5 mm crochet hook. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The white one in the bottle is 8 mm wide, made with size 80 thread and a vintage crochet hook. I’m not sure what size 6+24 means, so if anyone knows how to read vintage crochet hook sizes, please tell me!
