The box of donuts is really a pill box….Emma’s holding her favorite, a cheerio dipped in chocolate, then sprinkles. The others are cheerios dipped in confectioners’ sugar and cheerios rolled in cinnamon sugar.
How to make the mini cakes:
The mini cakes are really oreos with a layer of frosting between them, then more frosting on tops and sides…plus decorations.
The cakes should “rest” before anyone tries cutting a slice so the oreos have a chance to soften and become, yes, cake-like. Emma used a small pastry tip to make florettes and tubes of colored gels for the lettering.

As for the garden, i wish I could say I thought it bottlecaps myself but .. I actually used to do a few mini plants but I’ve never been able to find those tiny ceramic planters that I used… Then I saw someone doing bottlecap planters online and I thought it was genius! So I tried it out and made this alien succulent with little living stones. I’m totally gonna do more of them, but they probably won’t go on Etsy.

I went home for the weekend and dug out my old Lil’s diner! It needed some serious cleaning, and a little bit of repair in places, but after an afternoon of work it makes a great backdrop for my earrings! So excited to take it home & photograph everything in here.

Unfortunately this species found in the forests of the state of Sao Paulo is rapidly disappearing together with the forests as progress for housing developments and other land clearing projects are under way.

I’m back for the challenge :)
After my recent burn-out, I’m changing the rules a bit. From now on I will do the challenge on working days mainly, the week-end should stay free. If I go on holidays, no sculpting, photographing, post-processing madness in advance. AND after 300 different fruit and veggies I’ll go to sculpting fruit and veggies, but not necessarily only new ones. :)
The berries are a popular traditional bushfood, eaten by indigenous Australians and non-indigenous people. The melt-in-the-mouth berries are sweet and aromatic, with a pleasant gingery flavour. (cf wikipedia)
