Some more small terrain pieces, I made some lasercut pieces to fit around some drink cans. I shamelessly stole the idea from promethium forge, who sell a kit just like this super cheap online. Go check there stuff out, it’s awesome.

Aerial Views of Switzerland Capture Saype’s Massive Artwork Painted on the Alpine Terrain

French artist Guillaume Legros, who’s better known as Saype, has painted a hopeful new work on a grassy hillside that’s best seen from the air. Across 3,000-square meters, “BEYOND CRISIS” shows a little girl with a hand-drawn farandole circling around her. She peers across the mountainous region toward the horizon.

A remote post office where life stories gather before going on journeys again. A critical parts for an engineer’s success. A letter full of caring. An information note to change the course of history…

This is my 3rd experiment of 3D to 2D with reverted steps - greybox first, then sketch designs on top. Although this still requires having some idea of what it looks like first in mind. I can’t completely brainstorm in greybox.

Completed the 40k board. Six 2x2 boards that are near completely modular with each having a central sewer network.

New set of terrain finished for commision. Meant as an underwater Sandstone set for warhammer gaming

Battle board complete!

Was fun working on a piece of terrain that was bigger than the usual. Now to figure out what to do with it

And here’s some progress pics.

Based on mdf Carved from foam with a thin balsa sheet around the sides.

Various bits of sand and rock glued around

Coloured it all first

And then time to flock.. Tried using several different sizes and colours of flock, to get a good colour variation. Really need to get a static grass applicator next.

Have been making a lot of terrain lately. Started with a few hills then a house for lost mines, and going into trees and bush scenes. Really enjoy the creative aspects to making terrain

My armies on parade board for this year’s competition. I really wanted a different theme for my nids and eventually settled on a flowers as inspiration… In particular Frangipannis

For the terrains and my nid basing I went for an overgrown ruins look to complement and it really fits the nids. Like they’ve adapted to the environment.

Cherry trees.. So pretty
