#mitch mcconnell
Can we take a moment to reflect that Mitch McConnell, who felt that the administration was not doing its part (in the Senate) to curtail a deadly disease, chose not to call out that administration on its failures for over two months? Has Mitch just (unknowingly) admitted to be a contribuiting factor in how this administration has allowed a virus to run amok?
Give me a moment and let me explain:
(1) Mitch McConnell chose not to be at the WH since August 2020 because the administration was not following guidelines.
(2) Since August, people continue to test SARS-CoV-2 positive, with hundreds of COVID-19 deaths, because there are lax social distancing guidelines across our country.
Furthermore, millions are continuing to be laid off and continue to go food insecure (1/6 adults) or rent insecure (1/10 adults) because of this virus.
(3) There are no standard local and state social distancing guidelines across our country because the administration in power chooses to visually represent themselves in a way that is anti-mask, anti-social distancing, and anti-science.
(4) Mitch Mcconell didn’t agree with the administrations in-house guidelines for months but chose not to point it out until the (entire) WH GOP became infected!
Did I get my facts right?
Someone correct me if I am wrong but this interview came out October 8, two months after he felt that administration was not doing it’s part to ensure everyone’s safety.
Right?
Two months?
213,000 dead.
Millions of jobs lost.
Mitch McConnell is a contagious tumor in this administrations cancerous growth.

With Plenty Of GOP Help, Senate Shoots Down Rand Paul’s Balanced-Budget Resolution | ZeroHedge
We’re $31 trillion dollars in debt with $170 trillion in medicare, social security, and federal and va retirement obligations we can’t pay for and we can’t even get Republicans on board with cutting 6 pennies out of ever federal dollar spent?
You won’t be surprised to learn Cornyn, Graham, and McConnell and 14 others voted against Paul’s bill. Equally as unsurprising? Not a single democrat voted to rein in spending. I’m old enough to remember when Republicans were fiscal conservatives. Modern Republicans have turned into 70’s democrats and, God help us, democrats have turned into red eyed communists.
Here’s an important tidbit in case you missed it.
Under the Congressional Budget Office’s (CBO) latest budgetary baseline, interest payments on the debt are expected to triple between now and 2032.
Last year the interest payments on our $30 trillion national debt totaled $562 billion. I wonder what could we do with $562 billion? In 10 years, assuming not one new red cent is added to our national debt - I know, I know, I’m laughing too - the interest payments on the national debt will be $1.7 trillion.
That would make just our INTEREST payments more than the GDP of Italy, Canada, Russia, South Korea, Australia, Spain, Mexico or Indonesia. The interest would be more than the GDP of the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Sweden COMBINED.
Something needs to change, and change yesterday. Here are the numbers again. Do the thing and make some noise.
