So far we’ve seen our fandom participants raise $2,000 going towards legitimate, verified sources/organizations to support Ukraine and people in need during this time. Gifts have been going out and our creators are working hard.
Remember:
money never comes through us or to us directly. please do not try to send us money. we ask you to look at legitimate lists and resources of ways you can help either locally or globally and to make sure you do your own research. that will likely include some research outside of social media like tumblr or twitter or facebook.

The Bellas group chat was popping off like it always did, and there was a string of unanswered emails from work, but nothing from that infuriating brunette.
The infuriating brunette that she was actually quite fond of now.
Her phone lit up again, and Aubrey saw a message from Chloe, separate to the group chat.
PLOT: Beca gets dragged once again by Stacie to go with her and Bella for a school event, but during the event she is reunited with one of the people who picked on her for years.

Ukraine is currently being invaded by Russia. Russia’s president is perpetuating false and irrational “justifications” for why Russia is invading Ukraine. Many people have been killed and even more are being displaced from their homes because of the ongoing violence.
Let’s all help.
Fandom and our shared love for our favourite characters has always been a way to unite people of various walks of life as a community and in some instances, as a family. The aim is to contribute financially to various, legitimate charities designed specifically to assist with the crisis in the Ukraine and help the people affected.
For Creators
We are looking for creators in the Pitch Perfect fandom to offer creative services in any capacity—so long as you make fandom content (gifs, moodboards, fics, fanart), we would love to have you on board. Please submit a short sentence about what you can contribute and whether you’d be able to commit to filling prompt requests. Your participation is valuable and voluntary and there are no strict time limits to fulfill a prompt. If you’re a writer, we’re asking for you to aim for a minimum word count of 500 words.
We welcome all fandom members from the Pitch Perfect community!
For Donors
We ask you to open your wallets—at least $10—to the list of organizations below. We initially chose these links among many (though of course you may donate elsewhere at your own prerogative) because of its ability to let you choose among a list of available organizations and allocate your money as you choose.
Proof of a $10 donation (receipt with specific personal information crossed out) and one of our creators will make something in whatever capacity they can for you. You may send in a prompt, but prompts will follow this format: Ship (if any) + Genre/Emotion/Trope. (e.g. Bechloe + Fluff; Chaubrey + Angst; Staubrey + friends-to-lovers).
There are so many things that we can all do to help, this is just one thing that we as a fandom want to do. Please continue to educate, inform, donate, and spread awareness in whatever capacities you can.

Here at the Rare Pair HQ we’re a little emotional about how well things have gone. All of your contributions have been SO good, there hasn’t been a single day that hasn’t far exceeded our expectations. We wanted to thank everyone that has contributed, whether you’ve written a fic, made a moodboard or a social media au, or just read and reblogged everyone’s amazing creations, you’ve all helped to make this year absolutely amazing!
We plan on doing this again next year because it’s been so much fun, we hope that’s something you want too!!!
ALSO we don’t want you to think that just because Rare Pair Week is over we don’t want to hear all your awesome hc’s or read your amazing fics!! Notes: Alright, folks, this is the end. To be honest, I don’t have the words to describe how fun and challenging (in a good way) this has been for me. It was so good giving a voice to all those obscure ships and discovering new ones.
This was our face reading this incredible adorable soft piece. Aubrey and Beca running away together are just beautiful. Is it too much that we would love a follow-up? or, you know, a prequel about their travels all over Europe. Because we would love it. Believe me!! This was amazing, and we can’t wait to see what you bring next year.

Day five brings the one fic that I absolutely cannot call a drabble, this one got WAY out of control sdjhgjkdfg but I really fell in love with the mitchsen dynamic in it and thus continues the streak of @pitchperfectrarepairweek fics that I’ve named after Ben Platt lyrics, idk how it happened but it did

Hello Pitches!!! We hope you’re enjoying Rare Pair Week as much as we are, it’s so much fun seeing what you guys have come up with and all the rare pairs that you love so much!!!
We just wanted to send out a quick reminder because we’ve had a few fics that have run into this problem so:
We do not accept fics for Rare Pair Week that are Bechloe, Staubrey or Bemily centred.
If they are background characters and your main pairing is a rare pair then that is fine, but unfortunately if you write fics with these pairings at the forefront then we can’t share them here because they’re not rare pair fics. We absolutely do not want to disappoint anyone, we wish we could share all of the fics whether they follow the rules or not, but we want to make sure that this week remains for rare pairs and that means unfortunately we have to make really tough calls like this.
We cannot wait to see what the last few days bring us content wise, and we really hope this doesn’t discourage anyone from creating content because we love everything that has come our way so far.
