Hiking at the Heybrook Lookout trail was painfully rewarding. It’s deceptively a short hike like about 2.6 miles roundtrip. But because it’s steep, going up to your destination would seem like you’ve hiked for a million years. It could also be because I’m out of shape. Anyway, it was worth it because the view is gorgeous. I know it would’ve been more beautiful at the top of that 8 story lookout, but my fear of heights got me. I stopped halfway, shaking. I went down and just enjoyed the view from where I was at.

My parents and their friends wanted to go to Mount Rainier, so I tagged along with them. It was a good time to go there because there are still some snow left and the weather is not that cold. Because of the hot sun, I had to take my jacket and my beanie off even though I was surrounded by snow. Mount Rainier in the summer is still beautiful, but with snow, it’s a different kind of beautiful. It’s magnificent. Mount Rainier will forever be my favorite spot.

I try to take advantage of the sunny weather and the hot temperature. When we found out that it was going to be sunny all week in Washington, Austin and I planned to go on a trip to Ruby Beach. I already went there before with friends, but Austin has not seen or heard about it, so I wanted to take him there. We had a picnic and we meditated for a while. He said it was one of his favorite trips that we made.

My sister texted me that I am addicted to my dogs because I posted a lot of their pictures in instagram.
My dogs are basically my life right now.
