Twitter’s new Vine app lets you shoot and share 6-second videos at a time!
The idea behind the app is to let you capture snippets of life and share them super easily with friends and family.

These guys tested their G90 rugged phone case by dropping it from 100,000 feet!
That pretty much means you can give your phone hardcore durability, kinda like a GoPro has. Interestingly, it also adds a 90-degree lens, which lets you keep your phone flat while you shoot.

Lomography’s coming out with a smartphone film scanner!
This little box lets you slide in 35mm film and illuminates it inside so you can capture the image on your phone.
The design is reminiscent of the Impossible Project’s Instant Lab but lets you do something totally different but equally cool.
We also saw something similar to this at Photo Hack Day in Berlin! Rad to see it being made.

Digital Analog DIY!: How to Make a Zoetrope with Your Phone
We figured out how to make a zoetrope (animation) using your phone!
It starts with shooting a panorama on your phone, printing, and then making a DIY mount to show off your animated photo. Watch the vid to see what we mean.

Polaroid’s set to launch 10 Fotobars. It’s a store where you can go get your phone photos printed!
You’ll be able to go to a station, edit your photo, and then print it on anything from photo paper to bamboo.
The first will open in Florida in February.

Flickr launched a redesign of their iPhone app today, and it’s actually pretty great. Some of our favorite parts of the redesign:
- In-camera editing tools to enhance your photos
- A bevy of photo filters
- Photos stay sharp as you zoom in and out
- A new viewer for browsing Contacts’ photos
- An explore tab for finding new photographers

Twitter’s latest iOS & Android app update comes with photo filters!
Yup, you can add filters to your photos directly from the Twitter app. There are 8 options, including black & white and vintagey shades.
On top of that you can crop and use a magic wand to auto-enhance your pics. Could be handy!
